    When I tell yuh I been lookin for some good oxtails since I been in Jacksonville!  I done finally...!  Oxtails were tender and deeply seasoned.  The jerk chicken was grilled with that smoked flavor throughout the meat.  The Mac and Cheese was creamy with a fantastic crust.  The rice and peas were everything with that oxtail gravy soaked in!  You can now find me napping.  Do not disturb!!!

    I know this may be a bit controversial but I'm here to shake things up a bit, and willing to go out on the limb and say that Famous Jamaican has the BEST!!!!!!!, I said BEST!!!!!! Jamaican food in Jacksonville, HANDS DOWN!!!!

    Service, who cares about the service, I come here for the food. Oxtails, Curry Goat, Rice & Peas, Cabbage and Plantains. They can give it to me with a smile or a frown, who cares, just give me the Damn food and take my money.

    I welcome all challengers who consider themselves Jamaican food establishments against The (Champ) Famous Jamaican restaurant. And until someone proves me wrong, they hold the Title in my eyes.

    I can't believe I haven't done a review. I been coming to this place once a week for the last year . They know me by name and order, lol. Always delicious and always fresh. Best food in all of Jacksonville.

    This business is the west side fresh  seafood.    We I got some very bad food from them.    Buyers be aware of this business.  You will get sick.
